With the inception of the Australian American Chamber of Commerce, TANZOT's role has shifted to that of a social platform. Several major events are scheduled throughout the year in addition to the monthly Ladies' Luncheons, weekly toddler and baby playgroup and monthly meetings of the TANZOT committee.

Newsletters are sent to all members regularly to keep them informed and we encourage everyone's participation in the organised events.

Whilst TANZOT offers the opportunity to share advice and information, it offers newcomers support and a venue to make new friends. Membership is open to all interested parties regardless of nationality. In fact numerous members and their spouses are not Aussies or Kiwis: in some cases work or travel resulted in visits to Australia and or/New Zealand and they enjoyed it so much that they wanted to stay in touch with those from Down Under in this part of the world.
